Open to undergraduate students at a tertiary institution who are looking to contribute their skills to the red meat sector in the future. The programme offers:

• Undergraduate scholarships of $5,000 a year for each year of study for up to three years
• Assistance with obtaining study related projects / vacation work experience
• An introduction to the red meat industry networking opportunities
• Mentoring

Open to students enrolled or intending to enrol fulltime in the first year of the Bachelor of Food Technology (Hons) at Massey University.

Open to students from the Morrinsville area wishing to study agricultural related courses at a tertiary institution.

Open to tertiary students with specific interest in the citrus industry.

Open to students domiciled in Hawke’s Bay to undertake further education or training in horticulture pertaining to pipfruit, summerfruit and kiwifruit.

Open to individuals domiciled in Hawke’s Bay, working in the fruit industry and studying towards a Diploma in Horticulture, Fruit Production or Fruit Post Harvest.

Open to students from the Central Otago region, who are intending to study in areas relating to Horticulture at a New Zealand tertiary institution.

Open to members of the Winton A & P Association or their immediate family, intending to study agricultural-related courses through a Tertiary Institute course, either full or part-time.

Open to children of Ravensdown shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree at either Lincoln, Waikato, or Massey University.

Open to current and former students of the wider Taupo District area Colleges, or family members of the Central Plateau Vet Society Inc members, intending to study Veterinary Science or an Agricultural related degree at either Massey or Lincoln University.

Open to students from the Manawatu/Rangitikei and Wanganui Federated Farmers Provinces, to pursue agricultural related studies or group learning initiatives.

Open to Northland students, who have a particular interest in horticulture, undertaking horticultural related tertiary studies.

Open to current and former students of Stratford High School undertaking a tertiary agricultural or horticultural course.

Open to rural students about to enrol in their first year of an undergraduate degree or diploma at Lincoln University, intending to study a degree or diploma that will allow them to take up farming, horticulture or similar as a career.

Open to students commencing study (either full or part-time) towards an undergraduate qualification that has relevance to an intended career in the forestry or wood sectors.

OR

continuing study (either full or part-time) towards an undergraduate qualification that has relevance to an intended career in the wood or forestry sectors, and have demonstrated a conscientious approach to learning and personal development through high school.

Open to students undertaking a full time degree course in either viticulture or wine sciences.

Open to students from Taranaki/Waverley studying subjects relating to the primary industries, including agriculture, horticulture and veterinary programmes.

Open to students undertaking a full-time course of at least one year in an agricultural or other related subject.  This includes related studies such as horticulture, veterinary, bee keeping, aqua farming and viticulture.

Open to students planning to undertake a programm of study that will prepare them for an agribusiness career in the meat industry.

Open to Manawatu students studying towards a degree in agriculture, horticulture, agribusiness or veterinary science at Massey University.

Open to students from an urban area wishing to undertake a degree in agriculture

Open to students who once attended Palmerston North Boys High School studying a bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or postgraduate degree with a focus on agriculture or horticulture.

Open to students from the Wairarapa enrolled in a Bachelor's degree programme in agriculture or horticulture full-time at Massy University.

Open to students interested in a horticultural career to study the relevant programme at Massey.

Open to Chinese students enrolled in either a first degree or a postgraduate degree or diploma in Applied Academic Programme disciplines relevant to agriculture.

Open to students whose families are resident within the Waihou Piako zone rating area, wishing to study civil engineering or resource management with a particular focus on river and catchment management.

Open to students undertaking a course of study in a forestry discipline, with priority given to students with a connection to the land on which Kaingaroa Timberlands holds forestry licences and who have resided in the central North Island.

Open to children of Atihau Whanganui Incorporation shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree.

Open to children of Mangatu Blocks shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree.

Open to children of Tahora shareholders to undertake an agricultural or horticultural degree at either Lincoln, Waikato, or Massey University.

Each year we help two promising agriculture students starting their first year at university. FMG's agriculture scholarship provides.

Open to students who are discharged servicemen, or the children of discharged servicemen, studying agriculture.

Open to students undertaking a degree or diploma in either Landscape Architecture or Horticulture at Lincoln University, with a preference given to Marlborough region residents.

Open to future or current students at Lincoln University to undertake a course in Horticulture.

Open to students from the South Island to further their studies or obtain practical experience in a horticulture-related field at Lincoln University.

Open to students entering their first year of Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University.

Open to students who are enrolling for the first time in the first year of a Diploma in Farm Management or Horticultural Management at Lincoln University, and have resided in the South Canterbury region

Open to whakapapa of at least one of the eight iwi of Taranaki.

Open to Ngati Whakaue descendents wishing to further their education in forestry, farming or trades at any tertiary provider.

Open to industry students and trainees who have a special interest in the fruit or vegetable industry, and are undergoing significant industry training or education with a vocational provider. 

Open to students entering undergraduate study at Massey University, who want to study soil science and farm management as part of their degree.

Open to students studying a veterinary or agricultural degree at a tertiary institution in New Zealand.

Open to students studying agriculture or related science at either Lincoln, Massey or Waikato University.

Open to a full-time Māori student of Ngāti Porou descent, undertaking study in the field of Agriculture or Apiculture at Level 3 or higher. 

Open to students from the Canterbury region who are enrolled in a degree related to the land-based industries at Lincoln University.

Open to students undertaking full-time study towards a Bachelors of AgriScience, AgriCommerce, Science, Information Science or Technology at Massey University, and who would otherwise be unable to study due to financial hardship.

Open to students enrolled in a forestry or forestry-related degree at a New Zealand university.

Open to students enrolled for a forestry or forestry-related course at a New Zealand Polytechnic.

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognise and support high-achieving students entering their first year of the Bachelor of Forestry Science (BForSc) degree programme at the University of Canterbury.
Number of Scholarships available annually: Up to five, with one of the scholarships being reserved for a Māori or Pasifika student

Open to school leaver students of Māori descent enrolled in an undergraduate or sub-degree study in the Agricultural, mahinga kai or organics field at Lincoln University.

Open to students considering a course relevant to the Forestry Sector.

Open to current students of Horowhenua College, Waiopehu College, Manawatu College or Otaki College intending to study towards a career in either horticulture, forestry, fishing, veterinary or environmental science.

Open to students enrolled in the 1st Year of an undergraduate degree in agriculture at Massey University, who were enrolled in the intermediate veterinary programme in Semester 1.

Open to students from within the boundaries of the Northland Regional Council area, contemplating or who are already participating in agricultural-related tertiary study.

Open to students from, or attending a high school in North Otago, who plan on studying Agriculture at a tertiary institute.

Open to students from the Marlborough region (either attending secondary school, or resident in), intending to study agriculture or environmental management at Lincoln University.

Open to competitors in the TeenAg competition in the year immediately prior to commencing study, or in the year that they commence study at Lincoln University.

Open to Roncalli College graduates who intend to study at Lincoln University in the area of Agriculture or Horticulture.

Open to students from the Wairarapa taking courses in Agriculture or Horticulture.

Open to students from an urban background who wish to study a Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing at Lincoln University and who plan to make a career in a Land Based Industry

Open to students from the wider Whanganui region who aspire to a career in farming, agriculture or horticulture.

Open to secondary school students from South Canterbury region who intend to study the biological sciences at any of the three South Island universities (University of Otago, University of Canterbury, Lincoln University).

Open to students from the Presbyterian Support Central area, wishing to study farming, agriculture or horticulture.

Open to Northland high school students who wish to further their education at an agricultural institution, and intend to take a course for a minimum of three years.

Open to students from the Marlborough District to take a diploma or degree course in agriculture or horticulture at Lincoln University.

Open to Young Farmers Club members, who are currently, or will shortly be commencing, full time study at Lincoln University to improve their skills and knowledge in relation to farming.

Open to students who are studying an agricultural or land based degree at Lincoln University and wish to undertake a recognised exchange or study abroad programme. 

Open to students from the Wairarapa region with intentions to follow a practical agriculture career, with a focus on pastoral farming.

Open to students from the Taranaki region intending to study agriculture or veterinary sciences.

Open to any young person attending University, Polytechnic, or other approved educational institutions, who desires to follow an agricultural course
