Open to students from the wider Whanganui region who aspire to a career in farming, agriculture or horticulture.
The Trust Fund is held for the assistance, development and undertaking of agricultural education in New Zealand with preference given to disadvantaged youth from the Wider Whanganui region for education in farming, agriculture or horticulture through theory and/or practical experience.
The scholarship will be limited to first time, post-secondary/undergraduate studies.
The studies must be for students who have aspirations in the farming, agriculture or horticulture industries. Study may be undertaken at a university, Institute of Technology and Private Training Establishments. Polytech studies and Cadetships will be considered.
