Open to students who live between the Selwyn and Rangitata Rivers, planning to study agriculture, horticulture or aquaculture, by way of tertiary education or vocational training.
A scholarship of $3000 may be awarded. The value of the scholarship will be determined each year by the AACF Grants Committee. It may differ from year to year and may also differ between applicants.
The Parsons Family Trust established a Special Named Fund with Advance Ashburton Community Foundation in 2014 to provide a scholarship to eligible persons to advance their education, knowledge and experience in things agricultural, horticultural or aquacultural, whether by way of tertiary education, vocational training or otherwise. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant, or their parents, must reside between the Selwyn and Rangitata Rivers.
