Hawke's Bay Fruitgrowers′ Association Charitable Trust - Horticulture Level 3 – 4 Scholarships
Closing Date: 30 Nov 2024
Open to Fruit Production or Post Harvest trainees domiciled in Hawke’s Bay and working towards Level 4 National Certificate of Horticulture (Apprenticeship).
Wood Industry Research and Education Trust - Vocational Studies
Closing Date: 31 Dec 2024
Open to people employed in the wood or forestry sectors and undertaking on-the-job learning that lead to a work-related qualification, such as apprenticeships
Haane Manahi Memorial Scholarship
Closing Date: 7 Apr 2025
Open to Ngati Whakaue descendents wishing to further their education in forestry, farming or trades at any tertiary provider.
Southern North Island Wood Council Scholarship
Closing Date: 1 Sep 2025
Open to people enrolling in full time relevant industry tertiary study; or an employee within the industry who aspires to further training.
Growing Future Farmers
Closing Date: 27 Sep 2025
Our two-year programme (44 weeks each year starting mid-January to late Nov/early December), includes:
- On farm placement throughout 14 regions of NZ
- Practical on farm training and development
- NZQA level 3 qualifications
- Regional Student support
- Course fees, access to subsidised gear, equipment and clothing pack, and two pups provided
- Weekly Living allowance
Peter Laing Memorial Trust Grants
Closing Date: 8 Nov 2025
Open to students from the Wairarapa region with intentions to follow a practical agriculture career, with a focus on pastoral farming.
