Open to high school leavers who are interested in pursuing a career in the viticulture industry.
A few cadetships of a 12-month duration are offered each year at a vineyard in Hawkes Bay or Marlborough. Students spend 6 months in the vineyards and 6 months in the cellars, covering all aspects of grape growing and wine making. Earn while you learn, with full on the job training, and potential to gain full-time employment at the end of the programme.
